Obituary of Anthony James Bereti

Anthony James Bereti, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by his father, George Joseph Bereti, Tony is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Rita Bereti; daughter Lisa Bereti of Regina; son Royce Bereti (Irene Paul-Bereti) of Regina; grandchild, Remington Bereti; mother Helen Bereti formerly of Cupar; sister Jane Lingelbach of Balcarres; brother George Bereti (Annette Gray) of Regina; brother Ken Bereti (Charlene Mittelholtz) of Regina; sister Patricia Bereti of Weyburn; sister Anna Marin of Regina; sister Elaine Bodnard (Linden) of Regina; brother Daniel Bereti (Sheri) of Regina; sister Monica Bereti (Larry Ellington) of Fort Eerie, ON; sister Paulette Bereti of Cupar; sister Bernadette Bereti of Cupar; sister Donna Cameron of Seamans; brother David Bereti (Josie Boyd) of Pilot Butte; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tony was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved talking with his many friends and family. The neighbourhood where Tony and Rita lived for 45 years frequently found him out on his quad pushing snow after a good storm, sitting in a tree-stand half-way up the front elm, or standing on the front lawn telling stories of the number of gophers he got that day. He had a big heart and was always ready to help someone in need. Tony will be missed by everyone who knew him. A Memorial Service will take place at Holy Child Parish, 2636 7^th Avenue East, Regina, SK on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 2550 12^th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1.
