Obituary of Maxine Delores Findlay

It is with great sorrow that the family of Maxine Findlay announces her passing on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her parents Vi and John Paterson; brother Mick Turner; and her husband of almost 73 years, Robert Findlay in 2021. Maxine is survived by her children Karen (Bob) Joyal, Lorri Schott, Susan (Dean) Findlay, Jamie (George) Findlay, and Rob (Shantel) Findlay; grandchildren David and Megan; Alyshia, Brandon and Kendra; Nicole and Kayla; and twelve great-grandchildren. Maxine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was deeply loved and will be so missed. At Maxine’s request, there will be no formal service.
