Obituary of Donna Lynn Delorme

Donna Lynn Delorme, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Mrs. Claus. Donna passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the age of 51 years. She always had a big heart of gold when it came to the people she cared about and was as stubborn as they come. She was filled with passion and was always finding something to keep her busy, especially when it came to baking. Donna was always in the kitchen baking bread from recipes passed down from her mother, as well as sweet and savoury treats, just to put a smile on everyone’s face. If there was one thing she loved just as much if not a smidge more, because let’s be honest, the smile on her face always spoke volumes, was Christmas. She wasn’t deemed Mrs. Claus for no reason. She carried that spirit with her all year and come November, her home was filled with Christmas cheer and lots of sweet treats, a passion that her grandchildren will carry on. Donna’s family was her life. Not a day went by where she wasn’t happy to have quality time with everyone. She was daughter of Catherine and Gordon Gerlach. Donna is survived by her husband Darin; daughter Jessica; grandchildren, Rylan and Kaiden; five siblings, Marietta (Murray) and her children, David, Dustin, Murray, and Mark; Jackie and her children, Joshua and Karma; Tim and his children, Lacey and Bryceton; Trevor; and Ian; along with her mother and father-in-law Leona and Dennis; and sister-in-law Delphine.
