I met my Uncle Bob just a few short years ago when I brought my mother (Barbra) to visit her sister Sue. He was a warm and funny man So glad I made that trip. My condolences to Aunt Sue and family for your loss

Our Sympathies to the Hori Family Bob was Uncle Bob to me. Bob had always had a great smile and an easy going manner when we met on his Silk-O-Lina business trips to Calgary or our infrequent visits to Regina. Hello Sue and family. My name is Laurie Fuhr, the daughter of Gordon Fuhr, whom Bob and yourself knew back in the day when he worked at the Leader Post. One memory I have of Bob & yourself is back in 1972 when I was 10, I was recovering from surgery and a bouquet of flowers in a vase was delivered from you and Bob. I still have the vase the flowers came in. I thought that was so nice of you to show such kindness and compassion. The vase is a green boot with a kitten on the toe.

Norine, Russ and family I extend to you our deepest sympathies on the loss of your father/grandfather. So difficult to lose a parent. I remember Mr. Hori going back to Davin days. I remember birthday parties at your house, Norine, with your dad always being so gracious and kind. Your dad was a constant on Angus Crescent, usually seen walking a dog. Mr. Hori was gentle, soft spoken, and so polite. You will have memories of a loving father/grandfather. We hope these memories give you comfort. Grace Sasaki My deepest condolences to the Hori family on the passing of Bob Hori. I remember when Bob came to live with us in Calgary when he worked at the Silk-O-Lina store, and he was like another brother to me. Instead of five brothers, I had six. I am glad to hear that Bob had a good and happy, long life.
