Obituary of Irene Lena Stachoski

October 3, 1947 – September 5, 2022

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Irene on Monday, September 5, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family. Irene leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Clarence “Sid”; sons Corey (Karen) and Dean; along with her grandson Tucker; sisters Doris; Fran (Allen); Celia (Don); Daughter-in-law Sheryl; grandson Preston; granddaughter Michelle (Leonard); along with great grandchildren Melissa and Gabriel; sister-in-law Shirley (Gordon); along with her niece Jaimie; and including many nieces and nephews.

“Never to forget” that special loving smile and heart of gold, whether in health or during her battles with a prolonged illness. Irene secured a boundless energy and enthusiasm for life and could lit up the room whenever she felt the urge to a quip response. An amazing lady who ensured her family came first, yet more than happy to simply challenge herself to scope out and purchase a well- deserved bargain she had an eye on.

Irene lived in Regina, and over the years worked for various sign companies. Whether assigned to managing books or utilizing artistic talents she would excel in her assignments. Always dedicated and proud in completing her tasks yet time out for a chuckle or two to lighten the moment, home or away.

Irene moved forward to register her own company which included designing, cutting and carving cedar and glass signage. Many of her works remain displayed within the city of Regina and other rural areas today.

Prior to retiring, Irene would return to the workforce with a prominent glass company for a number of years. Focusing again on bookkeeping management, contributing with her gained experience and knowledge to assist in the company’s future and growth.

“We love you dear, more than words may ever express”
