Oct. 11, 1938 – Sept. 4, 2022

It is with great sorrow we announce that Con’s courageous battle came to an end on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the age of 83 years.

Predeceased by his parents Cliff and Irma Olson; brother Carl; sister Joan and twin sister Freda. Con will continue to be cherished by his wife Bernice; son Lindsay (Lorraine); daughter Lana (Keith); and his grandchildren Evan, Noah, and Sydney. Con is also survived by his brother Keith (Myrna) of Wawota, SK, along with many extended family members.

Con passed peacefully with the music he loved softly playing in the background. He was a fighter who believed that you should always keep your sense of humour, which he did, as all who knew him can attest. Through his entire journey he would continue to remind us of that, and his positive, playful attitude warmed the hearts of all that he met.

Con had a love of sports. He was very involved in minor hockey for many years making countless friends along the way. Coaching hockey, ringette and baseball was something he was passionate about, sharing in many successes as a result including a 1987 provincial hockey championship. He also enjoyed league bowling for many years.

Con was a Toronto Blue Jays fan and a dedicated 35-year Saskatchewan Roughrider season ticket holder, remaining dedicated after he was physically unable to attend games.

Music was a huge part of Con’s life, and he enjoyed rejoining his family band, playing with his siblings for many years.

Con’s grandchildren were special lights in his life being very proud of each of them for their achievements. He never missed an event, game, concert, or performance of any kind. Con was always their biggest fan.

A Celebration of Conrad’s life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Dr. Pillay, Dr. O’Grady and the Allan Blair Cancer Centre. A heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Unit 3A of the Pasqua Hospital for the hours of care and compassion they provided Con. We are truly grateful for you all.

Flowers are gratefully declined. For those wishing to honour Cons memory, a donation to the Palliative Care Unit 3A of the Pasqua Hospital, 4104 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5 would be appreciated.
