Beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Deb was born in Yorkton, SK to Douglas and Alexandra Deighton.

Deb is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Larry; son Scott (Alison) and grandson Hunter; and son Kirk (Beth); as well as her siblings Penny (Allan) Yung, Lorne (Marnie) Deighton and Jackie (Brian) Pearson.

Deb graduated from Campbell Collegiate in Regina.  She met her husband to be, Larry, when they both danced with Eminescu Romanian Dancers and were married in September 1983.  She went to work with the federal public service where she retired after 30 years in 2008.  Larry retired two years later, and they began their travels which included cruises to the Caribbean, Trans-Atlantic UK/ France, and the Mediterranean.  They also loved trips to Arizona where they bought a home in Mesa to escape the Canadian winter.

Deb had many hobbies and interests including shopping, gardening, fashion, baking, tennis, volunteering with her church and socializing with her many friends.  She had a keen eye for fashion as she was always dressed impeccably with matching accessories. Flowers and gardens were a huge passion, and her yard was always abundant with colourful flowers and beautifully decorated with ornaments.

She was very devoted to her family, her several dogs over the years, and especially her grandson, who was the light of her life. Deb was predeceased by her parents, her sister Vivian Deighton and her father-in-law Art Evans.

Funeral Service will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow and interment at Riverside Memorial Park.

Flowers are most gratefully declined. Donations may be made in memoriam to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 26 - 1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
