Obituary of Barbara Williams

March 1, 1934 – September 8, 2022

Barbara Williams (nee Sacasecawin) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; parents Joseph and Josephine; siblings Peter, Mary, and Alice. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children Malcolm (Lisa), Rick (Christine) and Blair; grandchildren Sara (James) and Rayna; great-grandchildren Damian and Lincoln. Barb grew up at Fishing Lake, SK where she helped her parents with chores. After meeting Bill in Wadena, they eventually settled in Regina. She was a loving wife and mother and took pride in keeping a nice home and cooking for her family (including her beloved cats). After the kids were grown, Barb and Bill spent summers going to garage sales and travelling to small town Rodeos which she loved. Barb spent the past several years at Extendicare Elmview where she made many friends and was involved in many social activities. The family would like to send a very special thanks to the staff for caring for Barb. Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E, Regina, SK on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara to Elmview Resident and Family Support Group, 11 Deergrove Crescent, Regina, SK S4S 5L8
