Obituary of Larry John Keeler

May 6, 1949 – September 15, 2022

Larry passed away surrounded by loved ones at the Regina General Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was the first of nine children born to John and Mary Keeler. After a short time of working away, he returned to the Francis area where he farmed for the rest of his life. Making the annual trek to Craven each year to enjoy the music and atmosphere was something that he cherished.

Larry was predeceased by his father in 2008. He is survived by Jeannette of Regina, SK; son Vance (Bridgette) of Regina SK; and grandchildren Chloe and Noah. Larry will be remembered by his mother Mary Keeler of Francis, SK; siblings Ted Keeler of Francis, SK, Sharon (Gerry) Martel of Coaldale, AB, Clinton (Karen) Keeler of St. Denis, SK, Debbie (Tom) Runge of Weyburn, SK, David (Gin) Keeler of Swift Current, SK, Brenda (Gerry) Paslawski of Vermilion, AB, Wanda (Jack Wood) Lang of Corning, SK and Angela (Grant) Radcliffe of Estevan, SK; as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held at Francis Community Hall, 201 Main Street, Francis, SK on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
