Obituary of Sister Teresa Kreiser

Sister Teresa Kreiser passed away peacefully at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, as her niece Sheila said the last goodbye. A few hours earlier, Joan Rink led a prayer service at which several RNDM sisters also had the opportunity for a final goodbye.  Teresa was born at Grayson, SK on January 11, 1935 to Lorenz and Theresia (Hoffman) Kreiser, the ninth of eleven children.  Her brother Lawrence, many nieces and nephews, the Sisters of our Lady of the Missions and her many friends mourn her loss.  In 1952, Teresa enrolled at Sacred Heart Academy, Regina for Grade XI and XII and soon after that joined the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions.  Teresa began her teaching career at St. Augustine School in Brandon, MB.  She also worked at the Marriage Tribunal and for many years in parish work. Teresa loved people and kept in touch by phone with many friends and family over the years.  She was very creative and up for any task despite many health issues. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:30 pm.
