It actually saddens me to find out this terrible news. i worked a few jobs with Mike back in the day and he was always had such a positive vibe that was contagious to anyone around him. he will truly be missed. my condolences to his entire family. take care mike. until we meet again my dude!

Becky, Ken, Bernie, and Rob, Words will never be enough to express my condolences for your loss, but you have our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. We grew up together, and during that time I got to know Michael for the loving, caring, passionate person that he was. Michael was a wonderful man, and he will be missed dearly.

I miss you, Mike. One of my first memories of you is at a party; you were always kind. I remember how friendly you were and how comfortable you made me feel. I’ve always appreciated your sense of humour, your calm but firm values and beliefs, and your smile - it really did suit you. I’m sad we won’t be going camping together again soon. I have nothing but the deepest condolences for Ken, Bernie, Rob, and Becky. I am so deeply sorry that you are all going through such a hard time right now. I have so many memories; we hung out a lot as kids, all the way up to early adulthood. I remember first meeting Mike in Grade 4, we played sports together, our families went on a couple trips, and of course, we spent many late nights gaming, sometimes we would cruise around Regina until 3-4am, just blasting music and hanging out. I cant count how many times we would cut across the park behind our homes to try and get back before the sun came up during the Summer months. My heart goes out to you, Mike, along with your family. You will absolutely be missed. -Michael Ballan

I remember the day I met you, my gaming buddy from when we were 17. Eight years of friendship turned into love. You brought me here and showed me your world. You supported me while I became a nurse. You shared your friends and family with me. I will continue to protect your friends and family to the best of my ability. I will make you proud and show you how good life can be, I will share my stories with you when we reunite one day. I miss you, but I won't rush to you. I will care for our cat's until they are ready to return to you. Jesus hold your soul eternal Mike. I love you and I will keep fighting for you.

Mike (and Rob) was a frequent guest at our house always hanging out with Dan or, they were over at the Brown's. The boys friendship lasted through elementary and high school. Their love of video games kept them connected as they entered adulthood. My heart hurts for your loss. I cannot fathom the pain of losing a son, a brother, a husband. I will always treasure the memories and sounds of the boys antics filling our house with laughter and love. Sending you love and light as you keep Mike close in your hearts.

Mike, I remember the day you were born. The joy and happiness that you brought into our world. The parties you attended were filled with your quirky humor, and you brought tears of joy to us many times. The driveway wiener roasts with friends and family were awesome. Then you met that special girl in your life and fireworks went off. You were so excited about meeting Becky, and telling us all about her. Mike we are going to miss you very much, as will Becky, your family, your cats, and numerous friends. Watch over us, but don't cause too much trouble inside the pearly gates.
