Wendy Edwards, age 69, of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2022, at home after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Taunton, Somerset, England, on July 23, 1953, to Patricia and Thomas Snook. Wendy was the younger of 2 daughters (Penny). She immigrated to Canada with her husband David after they married on November 1, 1975. They have 2 children, Stephanie and Andrew. She worked for the Ministry of Justice for 35 years in various roles including Manager of Provincial Court in Regina, SK, before retiring in 2013. She then went on to become a certified yoga instructor and personal fitness trainer and would teach, train, participate and travel to fabulous places around North & Central America. Wendy was a vivacious woman and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Wendy loved spending time with friends and family. She loved to travel and did many adventure trips in retirement. She and David also spent time in Mexico to break up the cold winters where she also had friends and family for visits over the years. She touched the lives of so many around her with her kind and caring ways, her big heart, and desire to help others. She was an inspiration on the bravery it takes to live life to its fullest in all its shapes and colours.

She is survived by her husband David, daughter Stephanie, son Andrew, and grandchildren Chloe and Diego. In England she is survived by her sister Penny (Mick), and their 2 children Mark and Michelle (James, Milly, Jessica).

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. Please dress as colorful as the way Wendy’s smile lit up a room.
