Obituary of Peter Murl Bergen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter. He passed away suddenly and tragically in his home in Buena Vista, Saskatchewan at the young age of 40.

Peter was born and raised in Regina. He received his grade 12 St. Luke Quiet High School, this is where he meet Tara. They raised two lovely children together. Sadly, Tara passed away July 1, 2021 leaving Peter as a single Dad. 

Peter was a talented musician and artist. He enjoyed campfires, reading and listening to music with his Dad. Peter’s imagination and knowledge was out of this universe. 

He was friends to all and would strike up conversations with anyone that was willing to listen. Peter had his own special connection with his family and loved them deeply.

Peter has left behind his parents, Murl & Lucille Bergen; two children, Doyle Bergen and Zoey Severight; sisters Tracy and Tanis Bergen; nephews Matthew, Connor and Andrew; nieces Hayley and Emma; grandma Margret Ratz; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and of course we can’t forget his buddy and companion Jubejube (cat).

A celebration of Peters life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave, Regina, SK on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Viewing will start at 12:00 PM, and the service will start at 1:00 PM. Please join us after service for tea, coffee and some light snacks.
