With great sadness, Michelle’s family announces her sudden passing on October 6, 2022, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She leaves behind grieving family and friends, especially her mother Betty Ann Pottruff; father Donald Kim Wilson; sister Grace Wilson; and niece and nephews Donnie, Ivy and Arthur. She was predeceased by both maternal grandparents Annetta and Rupert Pottruff; paternal grandparents Verna and Donald Wilson; both birth paternal grandparents Murdock and Margaret Norman; and her uncle Norman Pottruff. Michelle came to live in Regina with her mother and father as an infant, along with her sister. She was a joyful little girl who grew up to love travel, horses, dogs, cats, dining out, concerts and shopping. She loved her holidays in Mexico, cruises, and visiting family. As a young woman, she worked for a number of years in restaurant, grocery, and beauty salon businesses. In recent years, she participated in community activities as a volunteer and liked helping others. Michelle dealt with health challenges throughout her life, and despite a range of interventions and working with many positive supports, was unable to distance herself from the influence of negative individuals and their lifestyle. She was at heart, a kind, gentle and compassionate soul. We will always remember her smile. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. A recording will be available on the Speers website November 15, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Regina Humane Society, the FASD Network or Creative Options Regina.
