Obituary of Gwen McGinnis

It is with sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Edith Gwendolyn (Gwen) McGinnis, on October 6, 2022, due to a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Gwen was predeceased by her parents Daisy and Thomas; former husband Eugene; half-brothers Howard and Jim; sister June; and grandson Michael. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth; brothers Wayne and Dennis; and multiple nieces and nephews.  

Gwen was a committed employee and in early years held more than one job to make ends meet. Among her employment, she was a switch board telephone operator at the Hotel Saskatchewan and most recently, over thirty years employed at the RCMP Depot Division in Regina, SK, of which she was very proud. Gwen had the opportunity to take several cruises, which she found very enjoyable. 

Graveside Service will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Please meet inside cemetery entrance.
