I was honoured to work with Catherine during her time with Regina Public Schools. I admired her wit, compassion for students and families as well as her willingness to listen and support. Her extensive knowledge and skill set allowed her to encourage and strengthen those around her. I was a better teacher for knowing her and am grateful for her in many ways.

Thinking of my sweet Aunt Catherine today. She always made me feel welcome and special and was curious what I was up to. I loved the way she told stories with her whole body and her Donald duck impression was pure joy . Sending much love to Uncle Alex, James and Colin and Gavin. And to everyone who knew and loved her.

My sincere condolences to the family on Cathy’s passing. Cathy hired me in the mid-1980s for a special, one year SLP project with the Regina Public School system. She was an absolute joy to work with. She will be dearly missed.

I was so sad to hear of Catherine’s death. We worked together at the School Board for 30 years. She was a wonderful colleague and friend. She was always very professional and helped hundreds of children and their families throughout the years. We also knew her through St. Paul’s Cathedral where she volunteered tirelessly. She was outgoing, cheerful and lots of fun. She will be missed. My sincere condolences to her family.

My deep condolences to you, Alex, and to your family. I echo what Karen Wasylenko stated so well-Catherine did move mountains in the field of speech and language pathology in Saskatchewan. I am one of the many local SLP's who benefitted over the years from Catherine's leadership, wisdom, dedication and passion to our work and our profession. I always admired and respected her as a professional, colleague and friend. I will remember her beautiful smile, impeccable fashion sense, her sense of humour and fun, and her warm and generous spirit. Rest in peace, Catherine and thank you for the gifts you have shared with all of us.

A heavy loss to our community of Speech Language Pathologists, to our profession provincially and nationally, and to our community in general. She moved mountains (in so many ways) in the interests of our children who needed help with learning. Catherine offered so much and has left a legacy. I am so fortunate to have known Catherine for so many years. She taught me many lessons.. stand up for what you believe, be persistent, and always look out for the vulnerable in our society.. Be the voice for those who have no voice...
Rest easy Catherine. You will be missed and forever remembered. My thoughts and condolences to the family, colleagues and friends who mourn her loss.

I am so sorry to hear that Cathy has passed away. We crossed paths many times during our work with students in the public schools and, after retirement, at WP gardens. Her warm smile and gentle spirit will not be forgotten. My sincere condolences to the family.
