Obituary of Robert Joseph Flaman

Robert passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Alice; an infant son, Cyril; parents Frank and Elizabeth Flaman; brother Elmer; and sister Jeanette Runge. Robert is survived by his brother and best friend Wilf; daughters Holly Weichel (Blair Kessel), Jan (Phil) Deutscher; grandchildren Jill (Jody) Schmeltzer, Clark (Jonna) Deutscher, Lindsay (Adam) Morcom, Robert Deutscher, and Peter Kessel; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Noah, Matthew, Nevaeh, and Izelle. Robert farmed at McLean and worked at Wholesale Industries, as well as building custom homes in rural Saskatchewan. He was a gifted athlete, enjoying curling, ball, hockey, and golf. Robert was a councilor for the R.M. of South Qu'Appelle for many years. He loved to garden and grew beautiful roses. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Bill officiating. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Donations may be made, in memoriam, to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada www.heartandstroke.ca.
