Margaret Gold went into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Marg, late of Regina, SK, was predeceased by her loving husband, Doug; parents, Henry and Elizabeth Kennedy; father and mother-in-law, Harry and Gladys Gold; and brothers-in-law, Norman Shilliday and Bernie Loewen. Marg is survived by her son Brian (Shelley) and their children, Joshua, Nathan, Erin, and Michael; daughter Heather and her son André; and son Ken (Colleen) and their children, Jordan (Macy) [Amias, Audrey, Lucy], Dallas (Sharelle) [Harrison, Flynn], and Krystal; “adopted” children, Sandy (Brent) and Tony (Jodie); sister Anne Shilliday; sister-in-law Phyllis Loewen; brother-in-law Reg (Norma) Gold; as well as cousins and several nieces and nephews. Marg enjoyed her retirement years with her friends, travel, mall walking, and ministry. She was a special Nana to her family and many young people that met her.

This Irish woman from Belfast, North Ireland was feisty and full of life. She worked in banking, bookkeeping, Sears store clerk and human resources, executive secretary at Sears and SaskPower, and admin assistant at the University of Regina. Marg was proud to have attained her certificate from the Faculty of Administration. She was an amazing hostess with her late husband, entertained many for meals in their house, and helped with Youth and Women’s Aglow. Marg was a vibrant member of her church and the love of Christ shone through her life. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Marg’s Life will be held at Avonhurst Pentecostal Church, 3200 Avonhurst Drive, Regina, SK on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
