Obituary of Marion Frederica Pinch

Marion passed away peacefully at Regina Lutheran Home on Tuesday, November 29 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, George Pinch (1930-2012). Lovingly remembered by son Greg (Jane) Pinch, daughters Barb Riggs and Joanne (Rod) Harrison. Beloved Nana to grandchildren Matthew (Jocelyn) Pinch, Kristen (Tyson) Craiggs, Evan (Jenna) Riggs, Heather (Hugh) Thomson, Erica and Kyle Harrison, and great-grandchildren Madelyn and Camryn Pinch, Colton and Tanner Craiggs, Adeline and Charlie Riggs, and Hughie Thomson. Predeceased by parents Art and Edna Brooks and sister Arletta Tomlinson, Marion is also survived by sister Donna Simons, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A skilled stenographer and secretary in her work life, Marion was primarily a homemaker and stay-at-home mom for many years. An avid gardener, reader, and bridge player, she was also a talented seamstress, knitter, and baker, leaving a precious legacy of hand-knit items and recipes. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Those who wish may donate to a charity of their choice or to the Regina Lutheran Home, where Marion resided the last several years.
