Obituary of Deborah Lynn Dodd

Born of Regina, SK, on February 14, 1952, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022, at the age of 70.

Mom loved to spend summers at Katepwa lake growing up and as an adult. She was the oldest of 5 kids and family was everything to her. She was always so proud of us kids, but her heart really went to her grandchildren. She always made sure she had a pocket full or purse full of Jellybeans, sharing all the laughs, jokes, hugs, and cuddles with them whenever she possibly could. Nana was and will always be very special to them as well.

Mom is predeceased by her dad Ernest (Ernie) Baber. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dennis Dodd; her mom Dorothea Baber; children Derek (Cassie) Dodd, Stacey (Chris) Kubiak; siblings Sheree Baber, Don (Michelle) Baber, Doug (Joette) Baber, Laurie (Terry) Eisler; grandchildren Blaike and Mack Dodd, Alexys Dodd and Brandan and Jordyn Andrews; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with moms wishes, there will be a short Service for family and close friends at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. There will be no reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Unit 3A – Palliative Care or the Hospitals of Regina Foundation.
