Obituary of Cathy Lynn Smelsky

It is with sadness and love that the family of Cathy Smelsky (nee Adie) announce her passing, surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband Lorne; her children, David (Stephanie) and Kristen (Trent); grandchildren, Owen, Bennet, and Nora; her siblings, Brenda (Barry) Neufeld, Greg (Heather) Adie, and Mark (Stacy) Adie; brother-in-law Rick Smelsky; sister-in-law Shelly Czinkota; beloved nieces and nephews; her dear friends Cindy Almasi, Marilyn Beres, Ruth Choboter and Sandie Dales; and many other special friends she has made throughout her life. Cathy was predeceased by her father and mother, Ken and Joan Adie. Our family would like to thank the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their support and kindness through all of Cathy’s treatments and care. At Cathy’s request, she will be celebrated during a private Family Service.
