Obituary of Payton Ann Faith Aleksich

Payton Ann Faith Aleksich, Lil P, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 following a short battle against a brain tumour. 

She was born on August 15, 2000 in Wolseley, Saskatchewan. In her younger years Payton had a love for theatre, Justin Bieber and the TV series Once Upon a Time. In her more recent years, Payton had discovered a passion for crystals, poetry and especially loved spending time with her cat Henry while listening to Billie Eilish. She spent many hours reading and writing poetry, her favourite poet being Rupi Kaur, who she recently saw perform in Saskatoon. Payton completed one year in her psychiatric nursing program in 2021, where she made many friends who all enjoyed Payton’s vibrant, goofy nature. During her break from courses, she found joy working with young children at a before and after school program; her dream was to complete the Psychiatric Nursing Program, and work with adolescents through their Mental Health Journey. 

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her nephew and niece, Nolan and Eva; mother and stepfather, Alynne & Patrick Neuls; siblings, Micah Aleksich (Erika), and Alyia Giovannetti (Jarred); grandparents, Joey and Alan Aleksich and Anne Neuls; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ways to feel close to Payton; read poetry, buy crystals, watch Once Upon a Time, the Office or Friends, listen to Billie Eilish, adopt a stray pet and love them forever. Think of her whenever you see pink, sparkles or anything beautiful.
