Cousin Barb was someone I met later in life through family and friends. Her life, like mine, had seen its share of difficulty. Including the deaths of family members. Including Great Grandma Hixon and Uncle Louie, her son. She also told me about a really serious car accident she had been a few years after their deaths and how 'purple' started to dominate her life. But like all of us. Cousin Barb went on to live her life anyway. She also used her time to help people. Including myself! I am glad I got to know Cousin Barb and spend the time I did with her. She will be missed!!

To Barbs family. We will all miss her. So sorry that I cannot be with you all on this very sad day but my family will be there in support. She was the one who was instrumental in organizing our family reunions. Hopefully we can organize something for her burial in her memory. Love to you all. Aunt June
