To Mr Dave's wife and family we are heartbroken to hear this news just now. Our hearts cry out for you and for losing such a beautiful person.
We met mr Dave an year from now and he was the most nicest, kindest person we ever met a gentleman. He on his own offered us that he will take care of our fishes & plants while we were out of country.
We still have not returned and are truly heartbroken and sadden.
May God bless his soul and give the family patience & strength to bear this irreplaceable loss. Ameen
Sincerely,
Syed Shamim AFZAL & Rabia.

I finally made my way to David's final resting place, a serene haven amidst the bustling world. I brought along two cups of coffee, one for me and one for him, as a symbol of our unbreakable bond and what we were supposed to do after the holiday. Despite the layers of earth that lay between us, I felt his presence, a gentle reminder of the memories we shared.
The last time David made me cry, he brought me a Christmas gift and my tears of joy flowed freely as I hugged him. But now, as I stand by his grave, my tears are tinged with sadness for a life that once was. Yet, David's kindness and generosity still lingers, like the scent of freshly brewed coffee, and I am reminded that his spirit will forever be with me.
I am thankful for his unwavering kindness and the way he made me laugh, smile and cry.

Tonight, on Jan.26th, at 22:30 pm, as I walked through the halls of our apartment complex, I couldn't help but notice the somber notice posted on the bulletin board. It was then that I learned of the tragic loss of our beloved maintenance worker, David.
Tears streamed down my face as I made my way home, struggling to comprehend the reality of this devastating news. As an international student living alone, David had become like a grandfather to me, offering a kind and listening ear during our occasional maintenance visits. I remember telling him once that he felt like family to me. He even went so far as to bring me a Christmas gift.
Just two days before the new year, I had seen him and he asked me how I was doing. I admitted to him that I wasn't okay and he promised that we would talk and have a cup of coffee together soon. But now, just 14 days later, I realize that I'll never be able to have that cup of coffee with him. David was the only family I had here, and he was truly amazing and kind.
I can't bring myself to believe that he's gone. If anyone sees this message, please reach out to me at 639-590-5257. I would like to know where he has been laid to rest so that I can pay my respects. This is Shiva, and I will always remember David as my family here.

I worked with David for many years at SGI. My favorite part of going to Claims Tech was the chats I would have with David and Len. I’m just so sorry to hear of his passing so soon after his retirement. I will remember him, our chats and his smile fondly. I wish you and your family peace, Dianne. I know how very much he will be missed.

Diane, Kristin, Dustin and all your beautiful families. We were shocked and completely heartbroken for this tragedy. We worked closely with all of you for over 15years and Dave was 100% committed to everything and everyone. We laughed with him to the point of tears, he cared, never questioned or complained - he just got things done. His family, his community and his faith - cornerstones to his life - but tragically it was cut WAY too short and everyone who loved and admired him is left in disbelief and sadness. Wrap each other in love, live your lives by his example and keep his memory eternal. Hugs and strength to all of you.
