I am the granddaughter of Kate and Dempster Heming. Bobs Mom Clara was Kate’s sister. We saw Aunt Clara more and she was a wonderful woman! Bob has many attributes of his mom Clara! Bob was a good friend of my Uncle Al Heming. May wonderful memories sustain you all at this time! Sincerely Vicki ( Heming) Olafson

Thank you, Vicki, and my apologies for responding so late -- I just saw your comment. I met your Grandpa Dempster several times and he was always a warm, convivial presence -- and always had candies in his pockets for kids! I knew your Grandma Kate better as she and my Grandma Clara visited frequently. A lovely woman, Kate! I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to meet, too! -- Barbara Green
