It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcy Bear, who passed with family by her side, on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Marceline Alexson; husband Fred (JR) Bear; brother Gary Alexson; sister Karen Alexson; siblings in infancy, Colleen, Elaine, Karen, and Mary; granddaughter Cheyanne Alexson in infancy; grandson Terry McNab; paternal grandparents, Angus and Teenie Alexson; maternal grandparents, Allan and Agnes Marie Starr.

Marcy is survived by her children, Jason, Trudy (Anne), Serena, and Jared; nine grandchildren, Ocean, Kashina, Kamisha (Isaac), Leland, Sherise, Cole, Kashea’s, Breyanna, and Dylan; eight great-grandchildren, Peyton, Makaylea, Aiden, Suraya, Lexus, Abby Rayle, Myra-Mae, and Malaya; siblings, Bev, Curtis, Charlene, Sybil, Del; three other sisters, Edith (Chick) Poitras, Lorraine (Chub) Desnomie, and Ethel Dubois; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Wake will be held at Kahkewistahaw First Nation, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Kahkewistahaw First Nation, on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
