Obituary of Aaron Jaye Pelletier
Aaron Jaye Pelletier, Sitting Buffalo (Kahpit Mostos) was born in Calgary, AB and passed away suddenly in Regina, SK on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the age of 44 years. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Pelletier; maternal grandparents, John and Philomena Morin; and older brother Frank Genaille. Aaron is survived by his parents, Joseph and Olive Pelletier; wife Amelia; their children, Daelin, Treydon, Laurelle, and Geanna; siblings, Evangeline (Karl), Bonnie, Richard, Claudette, Jennifer (Nathan), Lonnie, James (Traci), and April; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Aaron loved his family and lived life to the fullest. He had such an amazing talent in drawing and in music. He was always an amazing provider for his family and was a hard worker. Aaron taught his children many things over the years, that they will forever cherish.
Vistiation at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, January 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wake will be held at Indigenous Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Funeral Service will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Interment will immediately follow at Piapot First Nation.
