Obituary of Pauline Rumpel

With LOVE and sadness, we share that on Saturday, January 21, 2023, Pauline passed away peacefully with family by her side. Pauline Oblander was born on June 24, 1927, in the district of Strasbourg, SK.

She was the youngest of seven, all predeceased: Fred (Hilda), Dave (Ruffie), Emmanuel (Lydia), Mary (Alex), Lydia (Henry), and Alex (Martha). She was also predeceased by her beloved Robert in 1987, and son-in-law Ron in 2022.

She met Robert Rumpel at a Luther League gathering and they were married June 28, 1947.

She is survived by daughters Paulette and Roberta; granddaughters Kim (Scott), Tanya (Jeff), Lindsay (Garry); greatgrandchildren Hayden, Alyx and Nicole.

Family and faith were very important. She was active in her church – ELW Stephen Ministries and made many life long friends.

The family would like to thank Regina Lutheran Home and all their angels for the excellent care, support and compassion for Pauline and family.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Summer of 2023. Another obituary will follow close to the date.
