It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Matt. She was born on September 12, 1924 in the Francis/Odessa area of Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the age of 98 years. Christina was predeceased by her husband Albert; son Darrell; grandchild Jennifer Christie; parents Adam and Anna Marie Klein; siblings, Kate, Caroline, Mike, Adam, Annie, Mary, Angelina, Josephine, Johnny, Peter, Anna Marie, Joe, Felix, Valentine and Stanley. Christina is survived by her children Wayne (Linda), Dale (Debbie), Wanda (Rod Srochenski), Darlene (Bill Doyle), and Warren; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters Pauline and Sadie. Funeral Mass for family and friends will be held at Holy Child Parish, 2636 7^th Avenue East, Regina SK on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. The service will be livestreamed. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of Qu’ Appelle House and Santa Marie Senior Citizens Home for their care over the years.
