Obituary of Shane Kay

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Shane Kay. Shane died unexpectedly January 25, 2023 in Regina, SK at the age of 25. Shane was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Marlene Kay, his mother Penny Rose Kay, and his younger sister, Shaylena Marie Kay. Shane made a habit of attending church, and was deeply devoted to those who were close to him. Shane is deeply missed by his partner, Tashina Bear, and their daughter, Rilah Bear, of whom Shane was so very proud. He is also remembered by his close friends, Brent Quewezance, Chelsea Gall, and Brandon Dermody. Many siblings, aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends mourn the loss of Shane, and pray peace for his spirit, now in the loving heart of the Creator. A funeral service will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Monday, February 13th, starting at 9am. A burial will follow the service that same day in Riverside Memorial Park, Regina, SK.
