Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Thomas

Susan Elizabeth Thomas, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Susan was born October 7, 1961 in Toronto, Ontario, to her parents, Martin and Shirley Thomas, who have since passed away. Most of Susan's working life was spent at SaskTel, working in the IT department.

Susan is missed and remembered by her daughter Nicole (James) Force; granddaughters Emma and Brooke; brother Dave (Wendy) Thomas; nephews Scott and Max Thomas; and friends from different stages of life.

Sue was kind-hearted, funny, friendly and loving. Her daughter and granddaughters were the love and lights of her life. Susan was a dog lover, and over the years Kerry, Lady, and Cuddles provided her with comfort and companionship.  Her family and friends will treasure so many funny memories and stories of times spent with Sue.

Susan struggled with the disease of alcoholism and addiction – a tough opponent that sometimes got the upper hand with our dear Susan. When Sue was in control of her disease her true self shone through. She loved life, and given how personable and open she was, she made friends so easily.  Susan was easy to have a conversation with and always had a funny little story to tell. Sue will be deeply missed by her friends and family. 

The family is inviting everyone who knew and loved Susan to join them for a Come and Go Memorial Tea at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The family would deeply appreciate your presence and a chance to visit as they say farewell and celebrate Susan together.
