Obituary of Crystal Lynn Rostad

Crystal Lynn Rostad, born in Regina, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the age of 44 years.

She suffered with chronic pancreatitis and heart failure for years.

She leaves behind her loving mom, Dorothy Schmidt; amazing sister, Poppy Ollenberg; and two nieces she absolutely adored, loved and spoiled, Zayah and Aveena Frei. 

She will be warmly greeted in Heaven by the child she miscarried and her grandma Georgette Schmidt who will fill her with love and cookies; Uncle Wayne, baby Daniel, Uncle Len, Uncle Walter, Auntie Myrna, Auntie Bev, Kealie Marie Lynn, Grandma Lorrine, Grandpa Art Ollenberg, and Uncle Lyle, will also be there to greet her. 

Crystal is loved and will be fondly remembered by many including her Uncle Jim (Marlene), Uncle George (Marceda), Uncle Don, Uncle Bryan, Uncle Paul (Shawna), Uncle Andy (Tracy), Uncle Joey (Vonnie), Uncle Bill (Allison), Auntie Wanda, Auntie Marlene, Uncle Wayne, Uncle Doug (Lillian), Uncle Larry Ollenberg, stepdaughter Toni Rostad, friends and special cousin Angela and numerous other cousins. 

She also leaves behind her beloved dog Rocky who was her constant companion and protector. 

Crystal will always be remembered for her innate ability to make people laugh even when she was so sick. Her unconditional love and sweet nature were her greatest attributes. She had an uncanny ability to light up a room and make people smile.

We take solace in knowing that Crystal is at peace and no longer experiencing any pain and suffering.

There will be a celebration of life for Crystal Rostad. 

Friday, May 19 2023 starting at 6:00 p.m. 

Serbian Club 2775 Avonhurst Drive, Regina

Lunch will be served at 8:00 p.m.
