It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia on March 13, 2023, the beloved wife of Ron Misko, of Calgary, Alberta.

Cynthia was born in Regina on June 4, 1958. All her schooling was in Regina where she graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

She worked at SGI motor licensing, Regina Hearing Aid clinic and the Saskatchewan Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission. Cynthia later pursued a career as an artist with her limited-edition prints being sold around the world.

Cynthia met Ron in 1981, they were married in 1982 and in Regina. In 1995 they moved to Alberta, first Edmonton and then Calgary in 1997.

Cynthia most cherished being with her close friends and family.

She is known for always being there for anyone who needed help, either to assist with something or just lend a sympathetic ear. Her biggest thrill was to be able get a smile from someone or just make someone happy.

Cynthia was predeceased by her mother Jean Gessell, and father Bill Gessell of Regina, Saskatchewan.

Cynthia will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband Ron, and Simon, her puppy, as well as her very close extended family.

Prayers will be held at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Avenue, Regina SK on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 7:00 P.M.  Funeral Service at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.  Interment to follow, at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
