Obituary of Balbina Majkut

Balbina Majkut was welcomed by God on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the age of 101. Predeceased by her parents Jozef and Aniela; her husband of 71 years, Feliks; sister Janina; and brothers Stanislaw and Feliks. Balbina was born in Grodzisko Dolne, Poland. The family moved to Canada and settled in Regina in 1962. She worked at the Pasqua Hospital until her retirement in 1986. She then devoted her time to her family, St. Anthony's R.C. Parish, and the C.W.L. Mom enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, and socializing with friends. Babcia enjoyed all her grandchildren's activities and celebrations, and took great pride in their achievements. 

Mom, Babcia, and Pra-Babcia will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Anna (Richard) Kusiak, and their children Lilia, Mark, and Krysta (Jason) Grieve, and her great-granddaughter Christina Grieve; her son Joseph (Judi) Majkut, and their children Jenna (Dennis) Nock, Tamara McBeath, and Sarah (Ryan) Mackie, and great-grandsons Kayden and Noah McBeath, Lachlan Nock, and Roxton and Stellan Mackie. Balbina will also be remembered by her sister Anna and brother Jan in Poland; her niece Anna (Carl) Ogibowski of Regina; and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Poland. 

Funeral Service will take place at Holy Child Parish, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK, at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 17, 2023. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK.
