GALENZOSKI Erna Katherine (nee MISAKEWICZ)

April 11, 1926 – March 17, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erna Galenzoski of Regina, SK. Erna left us on Friday, March 17, 2023. She was born to parents, Emma and Adam Misakewicz of Southey, SK. Erna was a kind and loving person, loved by family and friends, who worked hard all of her life. She was a great cook and a curling and sports enthusiast. Everyone she knew has a sample of her beautiful crocheting. She is survived by her only living sibling, her sister, Elsie Huber of Lipton, SK; her daughter Sharon (John) Sellers of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jason Sellers (Stacey) of Charleston, SC, Kaycee Galenzoski of Burnaby BC; step grandchild, Adam Kubashek; and newly arrived great grandchild, Henry John Sellers of Charleston, SC; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Erna was predeceased by her parents, Emma and Adam; siblings, Anna, John (Del), Martha (Robert) Scheuer, Erhardt (Marie); her husband Harold Galenzoski; and son Wayne Galenzoski. A viewing will be held prior to the service, at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Lunch to follow the service, at Speers Family Centre. Interment will take place at Southey Lutheran Cemetery. Special thanks to the Emergency room staff, Unit 4C at Pasqua Hospital, and everyone at Hayes Haven in Indian Head, SK.
