Shirley " Trudy " Lane

March 15, 1937 - March 18, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley "Trudy" Lane, who left to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 86.

Trudy was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Olive Lane; and her beloved sister-in-law, Marilyn Lane. She is survived by her only daughter Cindy (Casey) Williams; grandsons Shane (Joanne) and Riley (Leah) Williams; and granddaughter Jesslyn (Blake) Williams; and her 9 great-grandchildren.  Trudy also left behind her loving brother Bryce Lane, his children and family.

Trudy was born in Dilke, Sk. on March 15, 1937.  There, she attended a small town school, completed her grade 12 year at Luther College in Regina, and then proceeded to attend Grey Nuns Hospital, Regina,  where she graduated as a registered nurse in 1958.

In her final years, by God's grace, her faith in Christ was rekindled and her consistent presence at Redeemer Reformation Church was a testimony to the great trust that she had placed in her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Her relationship with Jesus provided the confidence and comfort that she needed in her last days and now she will be forever with Him in complete joy.

Our dear Trudy was deeply loved by her friends and family, it was her caring nature and servant heart that endeared her to all who met her. Her Family would like to thank everyone who knew her, cared for, loved, and prayed for her.

At Trudy's request, the family will not be having a funeral service, rather an intimate graveside service will be held at a later date.
