Obituary of Shirley Lydia Podolski

PODOLSKI, Shirley

May 31, 1947 – April 2, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Podolski on Sunday, April 2, 2023, in Regina, SK at the age of 75 years. She was a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother who had a big heart and a humorous personality.

Shirley loved unconditionally and welcomed all into her life and as a result, had many “Children from another mother”. She taught those in her life to cherish family as this is what meant the most to her. 

Shirley was predeceased by her parents Frank and Martha Welz; Her siblings Walter Welz (Valerie), Mary Purves (Morris), Don Welz (Olga) and Clifford Welz.  She is survived by husband Erwin, and her children Lauren Feist, Linda Waffle (Lance), Kevin Podolski (Tessa) and Edward Podolski. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Ramada Plaza, 1818 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.  A private interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.  To leave an online message of condolence please visit www.speersfuneralchapel.com
