Obituary of Savannah Philamaine Matechuk-Shannacappo

MATECHUK-SHANNACAPPO, Savannah P. (Eagleplume)

August 14, 1997 – March 30, 2023

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Savannah Philamaine Matechuk-Shannacappo.

She was a treasured mother, sister, daughter, niece, cousin, grandchild, and friend.

Savannah was born on August 14, 1997, at 12:38 a.m. in Regina, SK to parents Sarah Matechuk and Clarence Shannacappo.

She will be remembered for her softness, girly-girl personality, and her many beautiful selfies.

Savannah was kind, free-spirited, generous, and fought hard for who and what she loved and only then would you see a fierce lioness.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Savannah left us unexpectedly on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the young age of 25 years, to start her journey Home.

She is survived by her two beautiful children, Katayah Dawn Violet, and Kazdyn Jacob Lee; Siblings, Natitia Marie Dawn, and Eagan Jason Lee; parents Sarah Matechuk and Clarence Shannacappo; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Savannah was predeceased by many loved ones waiting for her on the other side.

A Traditional Wake will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.  Following a feast, Savannah will be laid to rest in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assinibioine Avenue East, Regina, SK.
