FREI, Jacob George “Jack”

NOVEMBER 3, 1935 – APRIL 4, 2023

Jacob George Frei, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the age of 87 years.   He was predeceased by his second wife, Linda Siemens; brothers Andrew and Eugene; sisters Emma Weinburger and Gwendolyn Hunt.  Jack is survived by his children, Cheryl Badley (Kim), Darcy Frei, Claudette Frei, Chandra Frei (Kevin) and Jack Frei (Renee); siblings, Lucille Deschambault, Darlene Shalovelo (Arnie), Robert (Bob) Frei, and Daniel (Lois) Frei; as well as his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack led a life filled with vision, wisdom, and courage of the future.  A free spirit at heart and a willingness to venture into the world at a very young age.   He was a truck driver, salesman, and turned his love of hunting as a child into an Outfitter business, first in Swift Current, then Hunting and Fishing on the Churchill River.   He had many jokes and stories that kept you interested for hours.  Upon retiring, his interests were wood carving decoys and collecting oil paintings and prints of wildlife.

Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
