Obituary of Patricia Ann Humphreys

HUMPHREYS, Patricia “Patty”  (nee BRETI)

Patricia Humphreys passed away peacefully in her sleep, after a battle with GBM, surrounded by family, at the Pasqua Hospital on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. 

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 

Patty was predeceased by her father, Peter. 

She is survived by her husband Mark of Regina; son Alex; daughter Katie; mother Lillian; brother Andrew (Linda) of Vegreville; nieces Jenna and Jasmine of Edmonton; brother James (Cathy); and nephew Ryan of Martensville.

Patricia Ann was the last of three children to be born to Peter and Lillian Breti.  She was the second baby born in the new St. Joseph’s hospital in Lestock, SK.  After which, she grew up on the family farm southwest of town.  She later moved to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, through Campion College at the University of Regina.  Towards the end of her degree, she met Mark Humphreys and they built a comfortable life together, eventually getting married, buying a house, and having a couple of children.  Patty loved staying home for her children.  The golden hour was right after school, as they would discuss the day’s events and decompress.  That said, she also managed to work and volunteer through several organizations, lending her experience and guidance in similar fashion. 

A Celebration of Patty’s life will be held at St James United Church, 4506 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK on Friday, April 21st at 1:00 p.m.

Flowers gratefully declined.
