MANG, Florence Ann

1941 – 2023

 

Ann passed away after a brief illness, on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the age of 82 years.  Predeceased by her parents, Phillip, and June Steward; Stepmother Anne Steward; Brothers-in-law John Mang, Patrick Borys and Bill Modeland, Ann leaves to mourn her passing her loving spouse Gordon; daughter Lorrie Hanna-Johnson (Dale Johnson) of Lumsden; son Curtis Mang of Neudorf; brother Bill (Carol) Steward of Carbon, Alberta;  sisters, Maxine Mayer of Edmonton, Colleen (Art) Williams of Saskatoon, Gail Modeland of Usherville, Bonnie Borys of Regina; Grandchildren Brandon Mang (Carrie) of Regina, Katie Beckett (Nicholas) of Regina and Eric Stachowich of Regina;  great-grandchildren Hudson and Everly Mang and Aria Beckett; Ann was also blessed with many nieces and nephews and widespread cousins.


She loved to spend her summers camping and the couple were a fixture at Rowan’s Ravine for many years where they met many of their cherished friends.  While in the city, the couple could often be seen visiting the geese in Wascana Park.  Ann especially loved tracking the newborn geese and ducks and had updates for anyone who was interested.  She also spent many years with a Regina bowling league and enjoyed her time on the lanes.

Please join us, as we say farewell to Ann at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Street, Regina, Sask. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
