Obituary of Bernadette Mary Rogoschewsky

Bernadette Mary Rogoschewsky 

April 2, 1937 - April 20, 2023 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Bernadette Mary Rogoschewsky passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the age of 86.

She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Mathilde Rogoschewsky; and her brother, Peter.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Leo (Patricia), Adolf (Anne); and her sister Kathy (Herman); as well as her nieces and nephews, Leonard, Patrick (Mel), Dan(Stephanie), Marie (Harlan), Tanya (Kent), Josef (Marie-Noelle), and Dana (Nick); as well as her great-nieces and nephews, Shaylyn, Colton, Julia, Ahren and Markus.  

Bernadette was born on April 2, 1937, in Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada with her family when she was 12 years old. She worked hard with her parents and family to create a new life in Canada.  

Bernadette was a kind, compassionate, and patient teacher who made a profound impact on the lives of her students. She always went above and beyond to ensure that each student received the attention and support they needed to succeed. Her dedication to education earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and students alike. 

Outside of the classroom, Bernadette was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her devotion to her family will always be remembered and cherished. Her strong Catholic faith provided her with much comfort and strength throughout her life.  

Bernadette will be missed by her family and friends, and all those whose lives she touched throughout her life.  

A Celebration of her life will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m.
