Obituary of Chance Cappo
CAPPO, Chance Ryan
Chance Ryan Cappo, late of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the age of 27 years.
He was predeceased by his mother Germaine Cappo; great grandparents Samuel and Alice Cappo, George and Barbra Gambler; great-great grandparents Felix and Charlotte (nee Gordon) Sugar; his uncle who raised him, Brian Cappo; uncles, Darryl Cappo, Randy Gambler, Brenton Gambler, Lyndon Gambler, and Kelly; aunt Janice Cappo; cousins Darwin Cappo, Colleen Cappo; and his Kokums Ida Desjarlais and Ruby Gopher (John).
Chance is survived by his siblings, Christopher Cappo ( Kelly), Lyndel Cappo (Clayton), Lauryn Cross (Spencer), Tristan Gambler, Brianna Cappo (Dallas); his father Phillip Gambler; aunts who helped raise him Mindy Cappo and Joan Kaiswatum; aunt Maxine Keewatin(Steve), Germaine Obey, Geraldine (Lefty) Anderson; Uncle, Curtis Gambler; his Kokums Ann Kaiswatum’, Janice Morin; and his Moshum, Gordon Desjarlais; cousins William Cappo, Jennifer Cappo, Jonah Keewatin, Jonas Keewatin, Marcus and Melinda Kahpeaysewat, Stevie Keewatin (Floyd), Carly Keewatin, Miranda Kaiswatum (Panda and Ryan); numerous Cappo and Gambler relatives; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A Wake will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Muscowpetung School, Pasqua Muscowpetung First Nation, Fort Qu’ Appelle, SK at 4:00 p.m. Service will be held at Muscowpetung School on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Muscowpetung Cemetery. Feast to follow.
