On Monday, April 17, 2023, Wesley Arnold Seida passed away suddenly at his home in Regina, SK. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Jessica (Jason) Brandon; grandchildren Mya and Ty; Mother Isobel; sisters Kim (Mark) Long, Debbie Wood; brothers Kevin (Tracy) and Warren (Susan); brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Alfred (Sheila), Phillip, and Edwin Kerester; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wesley was predeceased by his wife Kathryn; his father Arnold Seida; brother-in-law Jack Topp; father-in-law Anthony Kerester; and mother-in-law Margaret Kerester.
Wesley was born prematurely in Regina on August 31, 1958 weighing a little over 2lbs, his Mother fondly referred to him as her “Miracle baby”. Throughout Wesley’s life he faced many challenges, but always optimistically found his way through.
He graduated from Cochrane High School in 1975 and held many different jobs over the years, most recently with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Wesley was an avid sports enthusiast, in fact he was a walking encyclopedia of sports statistics for hockey, football and baseball, especially for his beloved Roughriders and the Regina Pats.
A Celebration of Wesley's Life will be held later this summer.
