Obituary of Paula Barbara Mise

MISE, Paula Barbara

OCTOBER 14, 1967 – APRIL 22, 2023

Paula Mise, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2023, at the age of 55.

She was predeceased by father Victor Mise; grandparents Joseph and Pauline Kumick; and nephew James Mise.

Paula is survived by her two children Morgan and Dylan; mother Johann Mise; sisters Melita and Deanna; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by many beloved friends.

Despite chronic ailments, anxiety, and cancer, Paula was both a force to be reckoned with and a warm soul. She was an avid storyteller, eager to share her passion and knowledge about music, world history, natural medicine, holistic healing, esthetics, and gardening. Paula adored Mosaic and went with family and friends every year. She cherished time spent at The Plains at the jam. Gifted at cooking, Paula loved to experiment with new recipes, and enjoyed her role as an Epicure Consultant for 20 years. Her dream was to become a trained nutritionist. Paula enjoyed bursting into song, often making up her own on the spot. She was hilarious with a quirky and uncensored brand of humour, and loved to make people laugh. Until the end, Paula remained equal parts ridiculous, feisty, compassionate, and deeply wise.

The family would like to thank The Allan Blair Cancer Society, the staff working on unit 3B, and especially the nurses from the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Regina Eagles Club (1600 Halifax St, Regina, SK S4P 1S8) on Wednesday, August 24 at 2PM.
