BELHUMEUR, Lenore (nee Becker)

1965 – 2023

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lenore Belhumeur, late of Regina, SK passed away on Wednesday, April 26th at the age of 57 years.

She was predeceased by husband Orville; her parents Leonard and Joyce Becker; sister JoAnne Becker; grandparents G. Lindsey and Ruth Bower.

Lenore is survived by daughter Ashley (Jody); son Travis; sister Patty (Verne); longtime friend Lisa Fayant; stepmother Iris Becker; fur babies Elvis and Roscoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised in Regina, SK and while growing up could always be found at her grandfather’s farm in White City, SK riding her horses and helping with the work.  Lenore had a huge heart for dogs as well and always had at least two in her care, we are sure she would have had more if she could!  Upon the loss of her husband, she decided to move to Red Deer, AB just as they had talked about doing when they retired.   But a few years later, she returned to be closer to her children.  Lenore loved going to play Bingo, as well as playing cards – these were great ways to spend time with friends and family. She was an avid Princess Diana fan; a huge fan of country music and was so excited to see Kenny Rogers live.

Funeral Service to be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. There will be no public visitation.

Flowers are gratefully declined, those so wishing may make a donation in Lenore’s memory, to the Regina Humane Society, 79 Armour Road, Regina, SK. S4K 0A8 or any Animal Rescue.
