CHAU, Cheuk Kit

Cheuk Kit Chau was born on April 13, 1932, in Kaiping, Guangdong, China.

 He was 1 of 9 siblings (6 brothers, 3 sisters).

In 1960 he married Ching Wan in Hong Kong. They immigrated to Canada in 1971 with their 3 children.

Cheuk is survived by wife Ching Wan; children Wayne, Sue (Kien Yeh) (grandchild Cory), John (Yuen Yee); brothers, Chuek Kwan, Jack; and countless nephews and nieces.

Cheuk Kit Chau was a cook at Chinese Palace (1970’s), Dragon Palace (1980’s), Lin’s Chop Suey (1990’s), retiring in 1996.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Santa Maria. Their support was greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

Traditional Funeral Service will be at Speers Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m.

Interment to Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK to follow.
