Obituary of Gertrude Alma Prince

PRINCE, Gertrude Alma

1930 – 2023

The family of Gertrude Prince sadly announces her passing on Thursday, May 4 at the age of 92.

Gertie was predeceased by her husband Edward; her parents William and Millie Leippi; sister Elsie; sisters-in-law Bertha and Virginia; brothers-in-law George, Clarence, Al, and Reg.

She is survived by her children Bill, Tim (Faye), Connie, Roberta, Twila (Cam); brother Wilfred (Mona); sister Wilma; sister-in-law Rose; brother-in-law Howard; grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She grew up on the farm near Kronau, then moved to Regina where she resided until moving into Emmanuel Villa in Emerald Park. Gertie enjoyed music, dancing, cards, baking and visiting.

The family wishes to thank all the health care workers who have cared for Mom during the last year, especially those at Emmanuel Villa.

A funeral will be held at Christ Lutheran Church Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
