MIELE, Antonio “Tony”

1954 – 2023

With profound sorrow the family of Tony Miele announces his passing on Sunday, May 7, after a short illness, at the age of 69, with family by his side.

Tony was born in Roccarainola, Italy on February 22, 1954, and came to Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1957 with his family. He grew up and was educated in Thunder Bay and in the 70’s he moved to Regina for employment opportunities. Tony enjoyed professional sports and loved his golf and shuffleboard.

He worked for various engineering firms over the years, including being a Junior partner in McGuire Engineering. Tony would spend the rest of his career working for Kenlin Design Group, doing design work for the Mosaic Potash Company.

Tony was predeceased by parents Giuseppe and Saveria; and spouse Karen (Alex).

He is survived by son Joseph; granddaughter Haley; sister Mary; and brother Saverio (Lorraine); nephew Joseph (Becky); niece Kathy (David); uncles, aunts, and cousins both in Canada and Italy.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society, 150 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 2N2 or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
