Obituary of Gerald Pressey Walsh

WALSH, Gerald Pressey

Jerry passed away May 10, 2023, in Regina, SK at the age of 90 years. 

He was employed with the City of Regina for 33 years as a heavy equipment operator. 

In his retirement years Jerry enjoyed traveling, camping, playing crib, watching the Pats, watching WWE wrestling, and dancing to his favourite country music. 

He was predeceased by his mother Mabel Colvin; sister Betty Colvin; his first wife Katherine Walsh; his daughter-in-law Bernadette Walsh; his great-granddaughter Lynelle Walsh and great-grandson Zachariah Walsh. 

Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley Stadnyk; Shirley’s children Tom (Belinda) Stadnyk, Tim (Jo) Stadnyk; Jerry’s children Anthony (Sherry) Walsh and Cindy (Rod) Mucha; his 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospice for caring for Jerry. 

A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK.
